So we have finally decided after throwing around about five hundred names that we would name our brand new puppie Riley. Its the only name that actually sounded right and matched the look of the dog. HE IS SUCH A CUTIE!!! Hope you enjoy the video of him below playing with his favorite stuffed animal.

Home Sweet Home!

Im gonna add a real update about how our trip back was, but for now all im gonna say is THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME!! and that Jen and I had such a great time being back. we say this to each other every time we leave, but we just love all of you guys in Connecticut and every time we come we feel so welcomed and blessed by everyones love and generosity. Anyways I just wanted to say we made it back to england safely and we had a blast with you guys! MORE SOON!.....

Sheffield Youth weekend In Whales

150 kids who we had a good time with and

had 15 kids respond to the gospel message!

From the 22 to the 28th of March my band Twelve24 is Flying to Connecticut to do our first ever
american schools week........THIS IS A BIG DEAL PEOPLE!! I need everyone with a mouth to speak to
get up on their soap box because were gonna be having a big concert on the Saturday the 27th and
we want as many people there as possible so SPREAD THE WORD!

Jesus Is Love

Last night I was directed towards certain televangelists and was trying to figure out whether  or not their doctrine was sound and biblical. I started my inquiry by searching some youtube videos which I know can be risky because i've seen a lot of things taken out of context and cut to make someone look like they are saying something the person wasn't at all really saying. Anyways all this in consideration I have to say I did hear some things that  I felt weren't to accurate or scriptural and what surprised me most was not the poor teaching but actually the tone and mannerism of the people who where exposing the false teaching. The videos that I watched, however true their "against" arguments were all lacked one vital thing.......LOVE!!  All I could think about was Jesus' words in John 13:35 when he told the disciples that the world would know they where HIS disciples by their LOVE for one another. Now im not here to bring anyone down what I aim to do is encourage you all! I want to encourage you all not only to get deeper into the word of God and in all things I want to encourage you to love one another with everything youve got because this is how the world WILL know we are HIS!  

The New Music Video!!!

Recently I hooked up with a Music group called Band_C to write a song which was an awesome experience that produced a great song. Some friends of the band who happend to be students studying film had a final project due to make a short film, this music video is the fruits of their labors! PEOPLE! PEOPLE! PEOPLE! Blessings to everyone and their mother! This month is a month to mark down in the history books because this is the month I Ryan Louis Griggs am getting married to miss Jenifer Jones.  I am Very excited to learn the ropes of this thing called Marriage. Although as of now I am very lazy and untidy im almost positive my future wife will whoop my tail into shape. PLEASE!!!! I Repeat PLEASE! To all the Marriage Veterans I ask you to partake in the timeless tradition of passing knowledge down to the younger generations. If you have any advice or heads up that you think I should be informed of dont hesitate to give me the inside scoop. So there it is This month I get married and you all can play a part wether you come or just give me advice its all appreciated! God Bless Yall

Ryan and Jenny found a Home!

So Jenny and I have been looking for some time now for the place to live when we get married. It has been an interesting process to say the least But, FINALLY we have found a two bedroom house for rent close to work for an extremely good price! Our prayers have been answered. Since boys and girls left alone in a house isn't really a good idea, Jenny will move in with a friend from The Message and split the rent until January. The picture is the kitchen in the back and dining room. We havent moved her in yet so there are no decorations but when there are we will be sure to put them up and give you a tour of the home.

Back in England

Hello to All!

I made it back with very little trouble along the way. The only difficulty I had was at customs over my visa and how long they could allow me to stay. Im sure everything is going to be fine and there wont be any more troubles with anything. My work starts on Monday the first of September so please pray that this week would be used well for my rest and getting over my jet lag! Ill be sure to pray for all of you and bless you whenever I can. Love You all!

We just finished a schools week in Wiggan which went really well! We had a pretty full schedule pretty much every day and Took over loads of R.E.(Religious Education) classes. We taught our classes on the subject of Hope and what Christians put their Hope in. The kids really got into it and asked really good and well thought out questions about what the Christian faith is really about. Although we weren't able to answer all their questions properly because like all of you know some things about God are a bit of a mystery or are a long stretch to get your head around and don't have a simple sunday school answer. I think the best thing about the week was getting to know what was going on in the kids lives and showing them how God could help them where they where at. To be completely honest the feeling of leaving a school with all the kids stirred up and talking about Christianity and questioning what it means to them Is just something amazing and unreal.

Jenny Jones.... Who is this woman??

Ok so some people know what the deal is and others don't, This here is to clear the air and let everyone know whats going on. So on the Genetik course I did meet a wonderful girl named Jenny Jones who caught my intrest. We were just friends on the course because the rules clearly stated there where no exclusive relationships to be had during the course. We spoke about it loads with each other and spent hours upon hours going over logically the risks of an international relationship and seriously random senarios that we might have to face if we where a couple and weither we where ready for that. So after alot of thought, STRESS, and some serious praying we both felt that as long as we both are looking to God for direction on what to do we could start a relationship and be confident that if it isn't right then God would tell us. So we have officially been together for four months now ( i wont get into the unofficaly bit because thats a little to complicated) And things have just been so great. She is an amazing girl who loves Jesus and has the biggest heart for other people. Its been such a blessing to know someone who just gives so much of her time and herself to helping other people. She makes me want to grow in my faith and be a better man of God. She is coming back with me in July and I know she is very excited to meet all of you back home. I cant wait for you all to meet her and see how sweet she is. Keep praying for us and for God's guidance on our relationship! Thanks,& I love you guys.
